AMATEUR CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY HOUR @ DAYS OF DARKNESS: Day One, October 28, 2017
Day One had a very varied lineup, with the likes of 90’s sludge outfit Cavity, 70’s rock heroes Captain Beyond, 80’s underground legends Manilla Road and the timeless Neurosis…

AMATEUR CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY HOUR @ DAYS OF DARKNESS: Friday Preshow, October 27, 2017

AMATEUR CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY HOUR: WEEDEATER/Black Wizard/Serial Hawk @ Velvet Underground, June 22, 2017
At this point, I’ve probably seen Weedeater more times than Dixie’s got toes, but they keep me coming back for more.

AMATEUR CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY HOUR: Conan/North @ The Garrison, May 21, 2017
I first caught Conan last year on their Revengeance tour, and in terms of sheer volume, they are one of the loudest bar bands I’ve ever seen.

AMATEUR CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY HOUR: Windhand/Satan’s Satyrs @ Horseshoe Tavern, May 19, 2017
Both Satan’s Satyrs and Windhand hail from Virginia, and would certainly appeal to a doom-minded audience, but there are very few sonic similarities between them.
