AMATEUR CONCERT PHOTOGRAPHY HOUR: Napalm Death/Melvins/Melt Banana @ Opera House, April 19, 2016
This was a co-headlining gig, with Napalm going on last and both them and the Melvins playing for about an hour. But from my vantage point, I gotta say, the Melvins had a much more punishing pit!

Ranging from the irresistible blackened doom of Old Witch to relentlessly wild thrash of Brutal Wulfsex, and the hot ticket of Sleep with Montreal sweethearts Big Brave, there…

GRUESOME GREG’S TOP 10 CONCERTS OF 2015
There were some really high-quality gigs in the Big Smoke this year, with the long-awaited returns of Neurosis, Electric Wizard and AC/DC, Ufomammut’s first-ever appearance, and a couple outstanding lineups curated by High on Fire and Corrosion of Conformity. Turns out I didn’t hafta travel too far to get my heavy-rock fix.
