Don’t get me wrong, [Chron Goblin] could still be considered desert rock (hell, they even crossed the pond and played Desertfest), but there’s a bit more of a bluesy influence here, a little more up-tempo approach—but with some very heavy riffs thrown in for good measure.
This is a great record to listen to loud over your speakers or even better, on vinyl with your headphones on.

After attending Barge to Hell in December, I had absolutely no idea that I’d be returning to Miami some five weeks later to the same port, the same ship, the same crew even, to cover the third annual 70,000 Tons of Metal. But as anyone will tell you, when you have a chance to go on the craziest cruise around, let alone one of the very best metal festivals in the world, you don’t pass it up.

What we have on our hands is another classic 21st century record from one of my favourite 80’s metal bands, and I sure as hell ain’t complaining!
