HELLBOUND RADIO: August 22nd, 2010 Playlist

Jesus Christ…I go away for a month and everything goes to a shambles. The station from which we broadcast Hellbound Radio every Sunday has begun the process of being gutted in order to be moved to a still undetermined location sometime in the next nine months – nothing like planning ahead, eh? Half the college seems to be under construction as well, which makes getting to the actual station after hours a bit of a pain in the ass. Then, there are my esteemed co-hosts who failed to put up a single playlist while I was away. So, here you go, Sunday night’s goods.

HELLBOUND RADIO: July 11th, 2010 Playlist

So in our ongoing new efforts to show the world that we have one of the most diverse metal radio shows on the planet, here is the playlist to last night’s edition of Hellbound Radio. This is our last show with all three of us for a while, as Kevin Stewart-Panko heads out on tour with CEPHALIC CARNAGE later this week. He will be tour-managing them for the first half of this summer’s SUMMER SLAUGHTER tour and we wish him the best of luck!

HELLBOUND SUMMER METAL MELTDOWN: July 10, 2010 Playlist

In an ongoing attempt to show that our Hellbound radio programs are some of the most varied, interesting metal radio shows that can be heard on the radio/online, here is our playlist to last night’s edition of the HELLBOUND SUMMER METAL MELTDOWN. Kevin wasn’t around for this program, as he was preparing for his upcoming summer tour acting as road manager for CEPHALIC CARNAGE, but we did have another guest DJ in for the night.

Hellbound contributor, photographer and web guru Adam Wills came onto the show with Albert and Sean last night. It was his first ever experience on the radio and was a natural

Uriah Heep – Celebration

Despite having only one original member, the band’s brand new album Celebration delivers to all their fans a fourteen track collection with an absolutely crushing set list. This celebration of forty years of rock is an album that has it all!

Helix @ Legendary Red Rooster, Burlington ON, March 27, 2010

Helix has been known in the metal scene since the mid 80’s and has over the years made some incredible tracks. They played a good chunk of them Saturday night and it made for one hell a perfect night. Checking out this band live is a must for any metal fan into the 80’s scene. The hits kept on rolling one after another. Great set list. As I get to see so many bands in concert, the one thing which caught my attention with Helix was their level of professionalism shown on stage. No sloppy guitar solos, no scratchy feedback in the speakers. Basically a flawless gig.
